The Presidents of Bolivia and Ecuador, Evo Morales and Rafael Correa, confirmed their presence in the closing event of Linking Alternatives 3, to be held from May 13th through 16th in Peru’s capital, Lima. The activity will be held in parallel to the 5th Summit of Heads of State and Government of Latin America, the Caribbean and the European Union (LAC-EU), with the participation of heads of state from both blocs. EFE news agency reports that the Presidents of Brazil, Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva, and of Venezuela, Hugo Chávez, as well as Paraguay’s President-elect Fernando Lugo, have still to confirm their participation in Linking Alternatives.
